However, the question remains: Does Chika Ike really deserve this award?
The actress has recently sparked number controversies.
For
example, during the Christmas period, pictures of herself in Dubai
which went viral and lots of people commented that she was a 'showoff'.
Secondly,
a lot of people also disbelieved her age when she said she was 27 last
year, but she said she got married at the age of 20 and even tweeted
her WAEC result online where her date was clearly shown for proof,
yearly she usually gets mixed reactions of her yearly calendar which
she releases at the end of the year.
Thirdly, some people rumoured that she was going out with the Senate President, David Mark.
Finally,
the end of her marriage brought up a lot of speculation with people
insinuating different reasons in the media, she revealed at a time that
getting married at a young age was one of the things that caused her
marriage breakup, the actress also has the Chika Ike foundation which
aim is to Educate the child and distribute books to school!
Therefore,
Nigerians may wonder whether she deserves the award of the ‘most
disciplined actress of the year 2013’, or, maybe Omotola Jalade, Chioma
Chukwuka, Mercy Johnson and some other actresses deserve it more.
