We just got reports that, Star Boy chief, Wizkid is about to seal a mouth watering deal with Nigerian telecom Giant, Glo.
The deal is said to be worth 120 million naira and finishing touches are already being made to seal the new contract.
Wizkid has reportedly dumped MTN who sealed up a deal with Davido as it has become an uphill task for the mobile company to keep most of their major stars.
MTN failed to renew the contract of Timaya and Sean Tizzle which were really key ambassadors that they lost. There were further reports that MTN had to choose between Davido or Wizkid as renewing the contract of both A List Celebrity was looking too expensive so they had to settle with Davido.
This opened a path way for Glo who have been trying to get their hands on Wizkid for ages.
We learnt that, Glo has plans to pick up all the top acts dropped by MTN.
If that is true, Wizkid, Timaya and Sean Tizzle may be singing the Glo anthem soon.
