Dear Bloggers,
In my epic race for the “Pursuit of Happiness” I went in search of an advert agency for publishers, so that I can put their ad link on you and money comes in, and everyone is happy.
During my search I found a mind blowing offer(let me state here that anything “that sounds too good to be true, is actually a lie’).
The company is called PopCash, and I must say I was enticed by their offer, you can start earning immediately and you can also withdraw at anytime(not like others that will say after 30 days, msheww iranu!!). So I applied online and prayed, and in less than 30 minutes my prayers got answered.
I got a mail that I have been approved they sent in my verification, I followed procedures and before you know it, I had the advert link, so I dropped it on the site. That was when I realised it was a pop up ad. (which everyone calls bad), I had my doubts and said I will try it for few days, if its not worth it I will take it down.
I checked my PopCash account an hour after I put up the advert and money was already rolling in, I was delighted and started refreshing the account page and every time I did, the money kept piling up. So I decided to keep them and started calculating how much I would earn by the end of the week.
I couldn’t contain my self from not checking my account that was growing, and every hour I go back and see extra money, I was overjoyed.
The next day however, my account barely moved, it was no longer increasing as before, now it was very slow. By the time it had spent three days on the site it had stopped, the money had stopped reading, but I left it there with hope that it will start increasing again. That was when my ever busy web designer called me and told me to drop the advert that it could damage the site. In my head I was think, what does this one know, smh.
He pinged me and warned me, but like the stubborn fly that follows the meat inside soup I told him I would remove it later.
On Tuesday evening I was trying to post a news about Buhari, through my phone when an error kept popping up, I left it, switched off my phone and assured myself I will use my system when I got home. I turned on my phone later, to try and post again as I was still not home, and everybody was pinging me, I checked my BBM and over 15 people said my site had crashed, I almost collapsed on the spot.
My designer was just giving me I told you so lesson and making me feel worse, I checked my mail, no message from my host, I got home and tried using system to login, I got denied. I immediately went into emergency mode. I was confused depressed and shaking all over. I lost my second blog to Hackers now my greed is about to cost me my third. I was sad and depressed beyond words.
As God will always win, my host finally sent me a long message about malware report on my website with complains from Thailand(what???).
So I pinged my designer and begged him to help me, and of course the guy use me do shakara small, he told me he will work on it overnight, which meant no post for me for the rest of the day.
So I settled down with a bottle of Alomo to drown my sorrows and hope by the next day all will be well. You can imagine how heartbroken I felt when he told me to call my host as they have refused to also grant his IP access to the site.
I called my host(the customer care lady had a sexy British accent) and they directed me on what to do in other to access the site.
Immediately I got access, I went straight to the stupid PopCash advert and deleted it, but I also checked my account to see if it was worth it.
It was all a scam, the 5 dollars I made in the first day is still there, and I just found out that I can’t withdraw it.
I have to go to Church to thank God for saving me from these guys.. Talk to you later.
