We took a break from our monthly lists of top most visited websites in Nigeria and now we are back with the list for top sites in Nigeria in April 2015.
1. Nairaland.com
13.7 million visits with over the April period still maintains its number one position as the most visited site in Nigeria.
2. Jumia.com.ng
Jumia with 13.6 million visits over April is hot on the heels of Nairaland. The ecommerce site is likely to get ahead of Nairaland in the next few months. The top ecommerce site leaped from around 8 million visits monthly in January to the present 13.6 million visits. With this it is clearly the highest in growth numbers.
3. Konga.com
Konga is the other top ecommerce big gun in Nigeria. It maintains its third position in the list of most visited websites with approximately 8.3 million visits.
4. Naij.com
Naij is an information portal that has quickly come to occupy a place in the top most visited sites list. It appears to have slightly displaced Linda Ikeji blog to move to the fourth position. It saw around 7.3 million visits in April.
5. Lindaikeji.blogspot.com
The top gossip blog in Nigeria has remained in the top 5 for many months running. With around 7. 2 million visits it doesn’t look like the blog will lose its fan base anytime soon.
6. Vanguardngr.com
Vanguard remains virtually unmoved on the list with average 5.5 million visits in the past month.
7. Punchng.com
The Punch comes in as the second most visited newspaper website and overall seventh most visited website on our list maintaining its position in the last few months with 5.2 million visits
8. Dealdey.com
Dealdey is a daily deals site and comes in eighth position on the list with around 5 Million visits monthly.
9. Gtbank.com
Guaranty Trust Bank is the top ranked website on our list with 4.8 million visits. It also is the only financial website that made it on this April 2015 list.
10. Bellanaija.com
Bellanaija, the lifestyle and entertainment blog saw about 3.7 million visits in the last month to come in at the 10th position on the list.
11. Pulse.ng
Pulse, a mix of entertainment, lifestyle and gossip website comes in 11th with approximately 3.6 million monthly visits
12. Saharareporters.com
Saharareporters is a new age and investigative news site. It had about 2.7 million visits in the last month.
13. Vconnect.com
Vconnect is a business listings site that also recently branched into daily deals as a direct competitor to Dealdey. It saw 2.3 million visits in the last month.
14. Premiumtimesng.com
Premium Times is another newspaper website in the top 20 with approximately 2.24 million monthly visits.
15. Nairabet.com
Nairabet maintains its position as the leading sports betting website coming in with 2.2 million visits. Since the list has been expanded from 10 to top 20 Nairabet is in the 15th position.
16. Kaymu.com.ng
Kaymu is the 4th purely ecommerce site on the list with about 2 million monthly visits.
17. Wakanow.com
Wakanow is a travel site and saw around 1.96 million visits in the last one month.
18. Jobberman.com
Jobberman is a leading job site and comes in the expanded list with 1.96 million monthly visits
19. Interswitchng.com
Interswitch is a leading payment processing and infrastructure platform. It recorded about 1.85 million visits in the last one month.
20. Informationng.com
Another information and news portal brings in the rear with 1.84 million visits.
