Accra - The Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, showed his love for breast milk by becoming an ambassador for breastfeeding advocacy in Ghana, according to Pulse.ng.
He was unveiled as the breastfeeding ambassador at the 2014 World Breastfeeding Week organised by the Ghana Health Service.
Speaking on his appointment at the event, the rapper stressed the importance of breastfeeding as a channel for child nourishment, and prevention of diseases.
Sarkodie made his new role known on his Instagram page where he wrote: "Proud of myself... #Ambassador.#NewBorn #2014BreastFeedingAwareness... One thing women must be educated on is breastfeeding... And I'm championing this course... Let's save our Babies....”
